GOLDEN ISLANDS
The Golden Islands (or Hyères islands) are a group of three islands located in the Var department. The three islands are Porquerolles, Port-Cros and Ile du Levant.

LERINS ISLANDS
The Lerins Islands are a small archipelago located off the city of Cannes, on the French Riviera. The archipelago is made up of two main islands, Sainte-Marguerite and Saint-Honorat Island, as well as a few smaller islets.
Sainte-Marguerite Island is the larger of the two islands and is home to a fortress that served as a prison for the famous prisoner of French history, the "Iron Mask". The island is also known for its pine forest, wild coves, sandy beaches and clear waters.
The island of Saint-Honorat is much smaller and houses a fortified monastery founded in the 5th century by monks of the order of Saint-Benoit. The island is known for its tranquility, its vineyards and its wine production. It is also a place of pilgrimage for Catholics.
