1. Can you introduce yourself in a few words

My name is Serge Boichot, I am a pilot instructor, I train hundreds of students. I have more than 5000 hours of flight time over the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region and Corsica.

2. What do you think of the South East and the PACA region for aeronautics?

It is probably after the region of Paris  the densest region in terms of air traffic control and practitioners but also one of the most beautiful. The PACA region is without doubt the French region that offers the most diversity in terms of aeronautics: between the coast, the Alps and Corsica. Moreover, the weather conditions are undoubtedly the best in France, which has allowed the practice of aviation in general and outdoor activities.

3. What are the most beautiful places according to you to fly over in PACA ?

There are several, I will mention in first place the Hautes-Alpes with for example the Lake of Serre Ponçon or the Queras. But also Corsica whose beauties are not to be proved any more.

4. Where do you usually land?

I used to land regularly in Aix-les-Milles, Avignon and Cannes but I have already been in all the airfields of the region. Flying allows you to discover the PACA region from the best angle, that is to say, seen from the sky.

5. How many hours or kilometers have you traveled in this area?

More than 5000 hours of flight over this region and I continue to do so including night flying.
